Born in San Francisco, Sidney lives today in Washington D.C. where he is an Art Historian working for several museums and related institutions. Sidney wrote the article "The Ghirardelli Story" published in the magazine of the California Historical Society in 2002, where he detailed the life of Domingo and his descendants, some Peruvian, which were the founders of the today famous Ghirardelli chocolate factory.
